Naked man at a funeral?
On Friday morning, a man tried to enter St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Bay City while a funeral Mass was going on. The only problem was he was attending in his birthday suit. After getting multiple 911 calls about the naked lurker, the cops arrived to find him trying to enter the church. He failed to comply and was tasered until he fell face down into the parking lot, receiving multiple injuries. Ouch, tasered while naked? That hardly sounds like a good time to me!When cops questioned him, he said that he was having issues with his parents, and needed to go to church, clearly he was in too much of a hurry to put a pair of pants on.The man had to be taken to the local hospital for treatment, and the police were relieved that no small children’s mind had been corrupt.I think that this is a prime example of how taser happy our law enforcement officers are getting. It hardly seems logical to use excessive force on a young man, in late twenties, who is completely vulnerable, and obviously not in his right state of mind.Is modesty really more important than safety?
